I am writing to let you know our experience with Michael Kavluk as a realtor.
When my aunt, who was an 89 year old spinster, passed away she left behind a beautiful old home on admiral road that had been in the family for about 70 years. Many family members had lived in the home and it was filled with lots of wonderful memories as well as mounds of accumulated stuff that had literally never been sorted or cleared out. It was quite an overwhelming task for my brother and myself.
We both lived north of the city and were out of touch with prices and contacts in Toronto. We contacted Michael and another agent to give us an evaluation. The contrast between the two was stark. The first whisked through and we received a glossy brochure with a cookie cutter estimate based on surrounding sales. Michael took lots of time, was clearly interested in us as well as the home. He gave us lots of advice long before we signed on with him.
Michael's level of expertise was evident from the beginning as was his compassion and understanding of both us and our situation. We were able to relax and trust him as our advisor. The people he brought in to stage and photograph the house were excellent. The care he took in overseeing the showings was fabulous. He guided us through the process of offers so we knew what to expect and had clearly pre-qualified the ones he presented, making our decision very easy and the sale straight forward.
Even after it was all done he kept an eye on the house as he knew we weren't around to do so. I would recommend michael without any reservation. He is highly experienced and exceptionally professional and honest.

Michael acted as our agent in the selling of our condominium in Toronto. Being relocated, split between two continents (Australia and Brasil), at the time of the financial crisis, and having only minimal contact with Michael through a brief interview before our departure, we couldn't have been more fortunate.
